One-on-one lessons over video with a shared board on Lichess or Chess.com. Wherever you are in Australia, you get the same coaching as in person, from a Woman Candidate Master who has represented Australia.
How online chess lessons work

Get in touch
Send an enquiry with the student’s age, experience and goals, and we’ll find a lesson time that suits.
- 2.
Connect
We meet over video and share a board on Lichess or Chess.com, so we can both move pieces, draw arrows and set up positions.
- 3.
Learn and play
We work through positions and ideas, play, and go over the student’s own games together, with the student doing the explaining.
- 4.
Between lessons
Students play games and bring them back to the next lesson. Going over real games is where most improvement happens.

Outside Melbourne’s east
Online lessons work well for students anywhere in Australia, with the same coaching as in person.
Busy families and adults
No travel time, so lessons fit around school, work and other activities.
Beginners to championship players
From learning the rules to preparing for state and Australian championships.
What you need
A computer or tablet with a camera and microphone, a reliable internet connection, and a free Lichess or Chess.com account. That’s it.

I’m a Woman Candidate Master who has represented Australia at the 2021 FIDE Olympiad and at the World Junior Championships in 2022 and 2023. I was Australian Girls Champion in 2019 and won four Australian age titles before that. I’ve coached privately and in schools since 2021.
